Our Story

Founder & Head Roaster, Simply Roasted Co.

Hi there! I'm the founder of Simply Roasted.

I started roasting coffee in my garage seven years ago with a secondhand drum roaster and a notebook full of flavor notes. What began as a weekend obsession quickly grew into something I couldn't stop thinking about.

Today, every bag of Simply Roasted is still roasted in small batches to highlight the unique character of each origin. I believe great coffee should be approachable, honest, and consistently excellent — whether you're a seasoned enthusiast or just starting your journey.

Where is Simply Roasted located?

Our roastery is located at 6441 96th Ave., Zeeland, Michigan 49464. You're welcome to stop in during roast days — follow us on Instagram for the schedule.

How fresh is the coffee when it ships?

Every bag is roasted to order and shipped within 24–48 hours of roasting. We recommend waiting 3–5 days after the roast date before brewing for best results.

Do you offer subscriptions?

Yes! We offer weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly subscriptions with free shipping. You can customize your roast level, grind size, and bag weight anytime.

Can I get my coffee pre-ground?

Absolutely. We grind to order for drip, pour-over, French press, espresso, and cold brew. Just select your grind at checkout.
